Job Description:
We are looking for a full time ophthalmic technician who will
promptly and professionally assist the physicians in patient care,
taking vision,eye pressure,vision acuity, OCT and Fundus
photos.Ophthalmic experience preferred. Great benefit
package.Prepare patients for treatment and assists ophthalmologist
in performance of patient exam;Counsel patients by providing
information about treatment, use of drops, drugs and questions
about surgery.Requirements-Bilingual in English and Spanish-Good
organizational skills in order to set priorities; organize work
activities, and complete assignments in a timely fashion-Good
interpersonal skills to interact with physicians, patients,
families and other support staff-Demonstrates knowledge of
infection control practices-Ability to contribute to a positive
team environment-Effective written and oral communication
skills
