Job Description:

This position will be a critical part of the Strategic Planning and FP&A functions that help to ensure the long-range goals for the company are met. In this role you will be responsible for conducting and mining quantitative and qualitative analysis and research to deliver insights that drive decisions that will create real impact and value for our business. You will also help identify and track new metrics that support our evolving strategy, working closely with our Commercial Operations, Sales and Operations teams to ensure that we have the right tools and processes in place. You will work with company leadership to define near-term and long-term business priorities and contribute to strategic plans that help achieve our goals. DUTIES

• Analyze and interpret data (often from disparate sources) to create actionable insights and compelling stories
• Determine metrics and build models to establish priorities, set benchmarks and track performance against short-term and long-term goals
• Administer and update the online strategic planning system
• Project development and management of resources, budgets and schedules.
• Maintain weekly/monthly priorities and communicate to key stakeholders
• Continuously evaluate industry, customer and competitor trends to implement into analyses/recommendation
• Assist in the digitalization of IBP processes and dashboards reducing the manual work required to create reporting and thus leading to easier identification of ways to improve our supply chain.

      • BS/MS degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or quantitative Business fields
      • 3+ years of experience in business planning, strategy, finance, or similar role
      • IBF - CPF & ASCM/APICS - CPIM, CSCP, or CFPIM, PMI - PMO, Six Sigma Certificates, preferred
      • Ability to coach and mentor leadership, provide recommendations and proposals to get alignment to achieve cross-functional performance and objectives
      • Knowledge of statistical analytics with data warehouses, query development
      • Strong ability to develop advanced analytical including excel files utilizing large datasets for processing improvements
      • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
      • Excellent interpersonal skills

        • BS in Horticulture or related field.
        • Knowledge of nursery management, growing protocols, and automation in Horticulture.
        • Experience working in ornamental production operations, growing, or engineering. Understanding of supply chain.

        • Ability to multitask and work as part of a diverse team.
        • Project Management - Knowledge of project management principles ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
          • Develop and maintain key relationships with external vendors
          • This role requires travel to our different farms in Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, and the Dominican Republic. This role also includes travel to other nurseries, trade shows and external vendors.
