Job Description:
Job DescriptionManage the reverse logistics (landing) from ship
to shore to be in compliance with CBP import regulation and
Carnival Compliance Improvement Plan. JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Audit import documentation presented by vessels for import
compliance.
- Audit broker documentation for compliance with import
regulations.
- Monitor freight forwarders performance in reverse logistics
process.
- Maintain vessel landing files for future reference or
compliance audits.
- Maintain and communicate to the CCL fleet the frequently landed
goods list.
- Lead landing process onboard training program.
- Perform other job-related functions as assigned. REQUIREMENTS:
- Performs other duties as required.
- Complies with all policies and standards. QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: - Associate's Degree. - Custom Brokerage experience
preferred. Work Experience: - 3-5 year minimum experience with
import and export regulations & requirements. Knowledge, Skills &
Abilities: -
- KSA's
- Analytical skills and ability to define and understand the
critical issues. - Ability to develop actionable recommendations. -
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). - Fluent in
English.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft products (MS Excel, MS Word, MS
PowerPoint, MS Outlook, and Explorer). #LI-LS1 #LI-Remote The range
for this role's hourly rate is $19.23 - $25.96. - Offers to select
candidates will be made on a fair and equitable basis, taking into
