AOG - Air Specialist - Freight Forwarder Location: Miami, FLSalary Range: $60,000 to $70,000Duties & Responsibilities:

• Experience shipping aircraft components under service level AOG (Aircraft On Ground)
• Specifically Air export from USA to multiple international destinations (preferably geared to Europe and Asia)
• Deciding on routing, arranging pickups and transfers, booking with all main airlines
• They must strive for and excel in a fast paced environment with multiple and changing priorities
• All work is shared so they must have experience and enjoy working in a team, while their individual performance is paramount
• Punctuality, reliability (long term), and a hunger for learning are essential for this role; training is mostly on the job and lasts 4-6 months
• Track and trace shipments to provide updates to the client
• Verifies shipment weight and volumes
• Responsible for audit compliance with TSA regulations
• Calculates rates with the ability to convert pricing and rates
• Registration of shipments
• Obtain and create quotes for shipments and source best method of transportation
• Supports local sales efforts with timely responses to emails and rate requests
• Handles the full process from A-ZRequiremnts:
  • 2+ Years in Freight Forwarding Industry
  • Ability to communicate and provide great customer service
  • Being able to work independently and part of a team
  • Knowledge of local and international carriers and routes
  • Able to cope under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Great organizational skills
  • Outgoing and forward-thinking mindset
  • Ability to navigate and work efficiently using IT softwareDesired Qualifications:
    • DG, Hazmat or TSA Certification
    • CargoWise 1
    • Ability to commute to work
    • Flexible attitude towards work
