A day in the life. The Regional Configuration Analyst is responsible for managing the implementations, renewals and ongoing service on our Employee Navigator and PlanSource benefits administration systems. This position works closely with the EH&B Consulting team, and will have direct client interaction. Responsibilities include system configurations, testing, delivering on project deliverables, building and maintaining integrations including API and EDI files, performing quality assurance tasks, resolving escalated client-specific issues, and collaborating with colleagues on client deliverables. Successful candidate will be a service oriented individual with high personal standards and a hands-on work style. As our Regional Configuration Analyst on the Employee Benefits team, you'll

  • Accountable for all client deliverables and procedures related to benefit plan design changes for implementations, renewals and ongoing administration;
  • Responsible for quality assurance tasks for various client deliverables and procedures such as, but not limited to, carrier files, payroll files, billing reports, worksheets and inbox requests;
  • Analyse technical requirements, test plans, training materials and procedure documents;
  • Create and execute test plans and test case scenarios to ensure requirements are being met;
  • Perform data manipulation, mapping, conversions, and validations utilizing internal systems, external files, and Excel; -
  • Setup, maintain and monitor integrations including API and EDI files;
  • Monitor, research, and resolve escalated client issues while coaching client team members on resolutions;
  • Develop client-specific training guides and facilitate training sessions in support of clients' benefit plan and process intricacies
  • Participate and/or facilitate meetings with clients, carriers and other colleagues;
  • Proactively identify and resolve risks and provide proper escalation for high level resolutions;
  • Maintain best practices and proactively recommend opportunities for efficiency improvements;
  • Establish and cultivate relationships with clients, vendors, carriers and - internal departments to ensure successful implementations, renewals and ongoing administration;
  • Coach and train internal members of the technology team on best practices and client-specific knowledge. Our future colleague. We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Active and current 2-15 Florida insurance license
    • At least 3 years of experience within a health care, health and welfare consulting, insurance brokerage, human resources consulting, or employee benefits related industry with experience working through an open enrollment or annual renewal benefits cycle
    • Experience with Employee Navigator and/or Plansource
    • Advanced Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word, including work experience creating tables, charts, graphs, pivot tables, mail merger and formulas
    • High level of people-service, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
    • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
    • Extremely detail-oriented These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:
      • Bachelor's degree in related field including the following: Business, Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent work experience
