Job Description
Operations Manager Boreal International (a subsidiary of Watsco,
Inc.) sells and distributes residential, light commercial,
commercial parts and supplies of Heating, Ventilation and Air
Conditioning (HVAC) parts and products throughout the Caribbean and
Latin America. We currently we have an opportunity for an
Operations Manager to Manager Customer Service/Order Management,
Purchasing of equipment and Warehouse. Will work and collaborate
with the current vendor base and lead the Operations team to
effectively execute logistics strategies to promote sales and
support the company's customer base and sales team. This position
will report to the General Manager and Director of
Finance/Operations and will be located in Miami, Florida.
Purpose: This role is responsible for managing the operations and
sourcing product from over 10 countries and serving customers in 33
different countries. A successful candidate will have a
demonstrated performance history in distribution and operational
processes delivering world-class customer service. Minimal
traveling required.
Job Responsibilities: Reporting to the General Manager and Director
of Finance/Operations, this position will provide leadership
support to the operational team ensuring the right product at the
right time in attaining customer satisfaction with the different
individuals involved in the order to delivery process.
Under minimal supervision, performs varied and moderately complex
tasks including but not limited to:
1. Customer service and order management to include managing
warranty process
2. Inventory planning and control to include integrating demand
review planning with sales forecasting processes
3. Transportation and logistics to include management of local
transportation provider and LTL providers
4. Warehouse management in both Miami and abroad
5. Facilities management to include planning for new facilities and
relocations
6. Compliance with Environmental, Health and Safety
requirements
7. Driving continuous improvement and standardizing on world class
processes
8. Ensure 100% compliance of SOX, FCPA and all applicable laws
according to company's code of ethics.
And here is what you will need to be successful:
Education:
AA/BA/BS degree preferred with 5+ years of experience, with a
minimum 3 or more years of Customer Service / Logistics / Freight
Forwarding / Warehouse experience.

Additional Comments:
Candidate must be willing to work overtime and must be able to work
in a high pace, high stress environment.
