SUMMARY:
The Implementation Consultant is responsible for successfully
implementing the enrollment platform, and the subject matter expert
(SME) for the product and the process. The Implementation
Consultant must be comfortable with direct client interaction and
project management. This individual will be required to carry out
various aspects of the software implementation process, including
needs analysis, configuration, testing, training, and software
presentation to clients. This role requires the individual to
identify project goals and scope and create a project plan that
outlines tasks, timelines, and resources required, all while
managing risks and issues and monitoring processes to ensure the
project stays on track. The ideal candidate is a resource for the
team and, at times, may need to act as a liaison between teams and
partners. The candidate must have excellent organizational skills,
take a proactive initiative to ensure client and team success, and
can work across matrix partners effectively. The professional is
responsible for helping HUB International meet and exceed client
expectations by supporting clients with delivering our benefit
technology solutions. This role can be remote.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create and facilitate project plans.
Manage resources and projects to a given timeline.
Configure the system as needed and work within the team to meet
client deliverables, including, but not limited to:
Configuring system as needed based on client-provided
requirements.
Testing new and existing system functionality to ensure the
accuracy of client system configuration with integration,
regression, and acceptance test plans.
Establish electronic data interchange (EDI) files when
appropriate.
Maintain a thorough understanding of all internal systems,
including project management software used by the team, to respond
to general and specialized client requests.
Provide resolution of client issues by responding to questions and
concerns about using HUB International products; ability to
leverage research to find a resolution.
Update sites as requirements change each plan year or as needed
throughout the plan year (this includes benefit class matrix,
requirements document, rates, permissions, field options, and site
text)
Provide open communication to HUB International customers in a
pleasant, professional manner with a can-do attitude.
Facilitate platform training for clients and HUB Account Team.
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Ability to identify, report, and track issues and/or enhancements
required to meet current industry standard business rules and
functionality.
Create and maintain procedures for the team.
Be a resource to provide technical expertise regarding our benefit
technology solutions on internal and external calls, emails,
meetings, etc.
Verify technical reference information, including user guides,
training manuals, and system requirements.
Provide resolution of client issues by responding to questions and
concerns about using HUB International products; ability to
leverage research to find a resolution.
Assesses the effectiveness of the team process and recommends and
implements improvements as necessary across the team.
Build and maintain Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) files as
deemed appropriate, to meet business objectives.
REQUIREMENTS:
A bachelor's degree and/or 2+ years' experience with online
benefits administration platforms.
Experience with Employee Navigator is strongly preferred.
Excellent written/verbal communication skills and the ability to
communicate with technical and non-technical personnel; ability to
listen, clarify, and respond effectively and efficiently to staff,
clients, vendors, and partners.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Basic
Functionality).
Experience/knowledge in client service, benefits administration,
open enrollment processes, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) files,
and/or ACA reporting is a plus.
Must be able to sort through complex subject material quickly.
Strong analytical skill set and ability to effectively use data for
strategy.
High level of productivity, reliability, responsibility,
attendance, dependability, organization, and
accuracy/thoroughness.
Ability to take initiative to meet challenges with resourcefulness
and new innovative approaches while maintaining high quality.
Must possess a passion for teamwork, client service, and reaching
business results through problem-solving.
Critical thinking and analytical skills are required to analyze,
recommend, and improve workflows.
