Other duties may be assigned by management Our Manufacturing Technician produces aerospace equipment through the set up and operation of our computer numerical control (CNC) machines. Our equipment includes 5-axis and 3-axis machining centers in addition to several turning centers, manual machines and a waterjet. This position will also support our carpentry and paint department. We are a vertically integrated manufacturing operation and our CNC operation supports production for our Miami and Dallas operations. We have a strong focus on quality, safety and continuous improvementPlans machining operations by studying work orders, drawings, engineering plans, materials, specifications, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters Sets-up and prepares CNC machines for operators ensuring that machines produce efficiently Verifies settings through accurate setup and validates with first-run parts or sample work pieces Meets product specifications through a variety of machining operations including drilling, grooving, cutting, turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations Validates production accuracy by taking measurements, identifying defects and troubleshooting Supports our carpentry department by building and painting wooden crates Paints components and assemblies in our paint booth Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulation Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance Accomplishes organizational goals with a strong sense of ownershipIdentifies and communicates opportunities for improving production quality and efficiencyOur Ideal Candidate:Great attitude Good verbal communication Attention to detail Sound judgmentQualifications: A minimum of 3 years' experience operating CNC machines is requiredCompensation $18/hr To ApplyKindly Click on The Apply ButtonPDN-9907103c-720c-4d1e-95e5-6b04de91fd8a
