Salary: Starting at $50,000.00 per year

  Schedule:
  
  • Monday to Friday
    Responsibilities and Duties:
    
    • Process and facilitate import and exports with U.S. Customs with a focus on vehicle exporting both ocean and air-
      
    • Review and monitor customs import and exports
      
    • Perform accurate reporting and billing
      
    • Apply Export Customs regulations including 192.2, TSA, HAZMAT and AES
      
    • Provide information and documentation to U.S. Customs and other government agencies.
      
    • Secure bookings with SS and Air lines and coordinate trucking
      
    • Maintain effective/professional relationships with clients, carriers, forwarders and customs.
      
    • Inform and explain to clients about customs regulations, tariffs and shipping restrictions.
      
    • Ensure timely dispatch of cargo.
      
    • Work as a team with warehouse and other departments
      
    • Ensure confidentiality is maintained and protected.
      Qualifications and Skills
      
      Background and Experience:
      
      • Minimum of 2 years of college required.
        
      • Minimum of 2 years of direct experience in Export, freight forwarding, NVOCC
        
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
        
      • Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality
        
      • Willingness to learn and grow with the company
        
      • Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines
        
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
        
      • Exceptional customer service skills
        
      • Very good computer skills required
