Job Description:
BlueLinx is expanding their Sales team. Bluelinx is looking for
a Export Territory Sales Manager-Building Materials to handle
existing customers, as well as grow the region. The right
individual for this opportunity will need to have a HUNTER
mentality and be driver to grow our relationships. The Export
Territory Sales Manager must be comfortable calling on previous
customers, finding new revenue streams, identifying new business,
and supporting already established clients - Relationship building
is the key. This position will have a solid base with a commission

customers. Responsibilities: Identifies new sales opportunities
with new and existing customers. Sales efforts typically focus on
selling program business. Maximizes sales efforts by focusing sales
time on largest most profitable opportunities (may include
segmenting account list). Improves profitability, product
penetration and product mix with all customers. Qualifies sales
opportunities through market / customer research and teaming with
inside sales representatives. Develops sales solutions and
competitive pricing strategies. Communicates value proposition to
customers. Proposes sales solutions to customers and reevaluate
solutions where necessary. Close sales opportunities by gaining
purchase orders and executing all order fulfillment procedures.
Provides outstanding customer service and post sales satisfaction
facilitating long term relationships for repeat business with
customers. Qualifications. Bachelor's degree in related field or
equivalent industry experience strongly preferred. MS / MBA a plus.
4 + years of experience as a sales driver. Individual that can both
manage an established book of business, as well as increase
partnerships. Building Material knowledge is a plus. Export Market
knowledge, product experience with building materials, and
relationship building acumen, along with consultative selling
skills. "Hunter" mentality Strong planning, organization,
communication, problem solving and decision-making skills. A solid
level of knowledge is needed in account management, scheduling,
customer support and service, product knowledge, product pricing,
sales support, warehousing, distribution, transportation, and
records. The best fit for this role is a self-motivated driven
individual. Possesses basic telephone skills with the ability to
identify key issues, evaluate facts and recommend appropriate
action. Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite Software and
