Summary: The Commercial Market Manager will actively establish the
strategic direction for Manufacturing Reps & Wholesale Distribution
in an effort to gain market share. This role will be guided and
will report to the Regional Sales Director. Required to create
annual strategic business plans, develop regional project tacking
logs, and build strong relationships with engineers, contractors,
owners, and distributors. The role is to manage the business for
long term year over year growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop annual, quarterly and monthly sales plans for a clear
strategy to execute in the markets of responsibility.
Pursue engineers, owners, & facility engineering and develop
Attend industry meetings and events.
Must have the ability to present products to engineers, owners and
contractors via power point and/or through a detailed
Mechanically inclined and has an understanding of various valves
and piping systems to discuss applications and recommend products.

Bachelor's degree plus 5 years in business, marketing, or sales,
which encompasses sales of valves or related industry products.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred.
Must have knowledge of computer applications and programs.
Should have a strong organizational background and mechanical

Must be able to interpret written and verbal instructions.
Ability to maintain accurate records.
Requires constructive and solid judgments.
Possesses knowledge of sales channels - distribution, contractor,
