On-Premise Sales Representative

Responsibilities:
Brand Guardian: Ensure that the company is represented professionally in the market and that both on- and off-premise locations follow our brand standards.
Build a positive rapport with customers and distributors within a defined territory
Create regional sales plans and quotas aligned with company business objectives
Maintain and develop distributor networks to ensure maximum brand penetration, availability, and support significant growth
Manage and own all on-premise locations, specialty retailers, and distributors within a defined region
Understand the opportunities, customer issues, challenges and be responsive in answering questions and provide adequate responses in a timely and professional manner
Stay abreast of product knowledge on product lines while understanding competitive products in the marketplace; communicate competitive intelligence
Plan and execute a well-balanced call cycle to ensure full territory management.
Develop and report objectives, results, barriers, and opportunities.
Manage promotional processes within an established trade budget to optimize sales, gross margin, and profitability.
Represent the company with the highest character, integrity, and professionalism

Working and Other Requirements:
50%-80% regional travel to train and scout for new end-customers, attend retail and wholesale sales calls and meetings and work-withs
Flexibility to occasionally support late night/weekend events
Excellent driving record, valid motor vehicle insurance

Skills and Abilities:
Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers
Excellent time management skills
Excellent communications skills (verbal/written)
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace
Effectively builds rapport and trusting relationships
Highly self-motivated and proactive - ability to work independently and as a team
Resourceful, adaptable, and flexible in all situations
Thrive in a high-paced and stressful environment

Education & Experience:
Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Desired: Bachelor's Degree
3-5 years front-line Sales/Sales Management experience
Proven work experience as a Regional Sales Manager, Area Manager, or similar sales role
CPG/Beverage Sales experience, Primarily with on-premise accounts
Alcohol Industry experience strongly preferred
Wholesale channel management
Specialty Retail experience desirable; Familiarity with food distribution
Fresh Product experience a plus: Refrigerated cold-chain
