LivaNova Neuromodulation:
As pioneers of the VNS (Vagus Nerve Stimulation) Therapy system,
LivaNova continues to advance medical device solutions for patients
affected by Drug-Resistant Epilepsy (DRE) and Difficult-to-Treat
Depression (DTD). There are 3 million people in the U.S. alone and
one on three people with epilepsy are drug resistant. People with
severe seizures have, on average, a shorter life expectancy and an
increased risk of cognitive impairment particularly if the seizures
developed in early childhood. VNS Therapy for DRE is delivered
through a device that sends mild pulses to the vagus nerve at
regular intervals throughout the day in an effort to prevent
seizures.
RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY
This position is responsible for achieving the sales expectations
of the assigned territory. Success is realized by building strong
customer relationships, conducting consultative sales calls,
utilizing solid product/technical knowledge, following a targeted
call plan, and developing a solid territory plan. The Inside Sales
Representative will play a fundamental role in achieving revenue
growth objectives and serves as a liaison between the Marketing and
Field teams reporting into Inside Sales.
PRIMARY ACTIVITIES
* Understand customer/field team needs and requirements
* Support the sales effort by providing prompt, knowledgeable and
courteous responses to customer inquiries via phone/email
* Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and
outbound cold call/email campaigns
* Ensure follow-up by passing leads to appropriate team members
with call-to-action, dates, complete prospect profile information
and next steps
* Expand EPILEPSY prospect database by researching existing
accounts to identify new decision makers and identify/build new
potential customer sites
* Collaborate with Area Directors and Regional Managers to define
best practices and create strategic prospecting plans
* Collaborate with assigned Territory Managers to define target
accounts
* Secure qualified on-site Discovery Meetings with the following
decision makers: Neurologists and Epileptologists.
* Acquiring, maintaining, and expanding knowledge of EPILEPSY
products, competitive products, clinical procedures, and the
EPILEPSY market to enhance outreach messaging, campaign content and
targeting efforts.
* Collaborate with EPILEPSY Marketing to drive conference and
webinar attendance.
* Where necessary, support marketing efforts such as conferences,
sales trainings, and other events
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's Degree or higher
* 3+ years of direct work experience in an Inside Sales role
* Proven success with prospecting efforts to achieve sales KPIs
* Demonstrated talent in opportunity qualification, pre-call
planning, account development, and time management
* Proven success with qualifying opportunities involving multiple
key decision makers
* Robust problem identification and resolution skills
* Ability to establish great relationships with customers and
teammates quickly
* Exceptional verbal/written communication and presentation
skills
* Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of
enthusiasm
* Ability to occasionally travel and attend sales events or
conferences
* Ability to work individually and as part of a team with a high
level of integrity and work ethic.
* Expert in handling CRM software along with Microsoft Office
Suite
