Job Description Job Description Job Title: Customer Outreach Specialist Job Description Join our dynamic Customer Outreach team in the Ft Lauderdale/Broward area. As a Customer Outreach Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the Storm Secure Underground Program by engaging with service customers to explain the program and secure the necessary documents and signatures for utility easements, ensuring the successful completion of projects. Responsibilities Use your own vehicle to travel and contact each property owner to discuss the project and proposed equipment placement. Explain the Storm Secure Underground Program (SSUP) project details to service customers. Obtain customer agreement to proceed with the project and acquire all necessary signatures for easements and acknowledgment forms. Maintain ongoing communication with property owners and occupants throughout all project stages, adhering to company policies and procedures. Organize and submit documents electronically to the support team. Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills with purposeful follow-up and documentation. Communicate professionally in person, over the phone, and via email with customers, staff, and vendors. Read and understand construction and engineering plans. Coordinate special projects as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Sales experience, including door-to-door customer field experience. Retail sales experience. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to read and understand construction and engineering plans. Valid driver's license and ability to drive local and long distances. Ability to lift 25 pounds. Additional Skills & Qualifications Notary certification is a plus. Experience in outside sales, account management, and field sales. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with outbound calls, customer support, customer service, inside sales, community outreach, and data entry. Prior utility experience is a plus. Work Environment his role primarily involves fieldwork in the Miami area, utilizing your own vehicle with mileage reimbursement provided. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 10 am to 7 pm, and some Saturdays as needed, with no overtime. You may need to accommodate other times for specific customer needs. Required attire includes jeans or nice pants and steel-toe boots, while PPE (shirt, vest, etc.) is provided. A company phone and equipment will be issued, with the possibility of using a personal phone temporarily. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Miami Gardens, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
