Cardiac Medicine Overview: The Part-Time Registered Nurse in
Cardiac Medicine is responsible for delivering patient care through
the nursing process, collaborating with various departments, and
ensuring the confidentiality of patient information. Candidates
must hold a valid RN license, possess Basic Life Support
certification, and may need advanced certifications pertinent to
cardiac and emergency nursing. This role entails physical tasks
such as lifting and extended periods of standing, and it provides

Summary: This position involves utilizing the nursing process to
deliver patient care while maintaining professional accountability
for the care provided to assigned patients. The nurse will assess
the effectiveness of care delivered by other caregivers and
coordinate patient care alongside other departments. Upholding
patient rights and confidentiality is essential, and all

standards. Position Details: Qualifications: Education: Completion
of a nursing program (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
Licensure: Must obtain and maintain a current RN license in the
state of employment or a compact license, adhering to all state
board of nursing regulations. Experience: Relevant nursing
experience is preferred. Certifications: Basic Life Support
certification from the American Heart Association or completion of
the course within 30 days of hire. Additional certifications may be
required based on the specific unit, including but not limited to:
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation
Program) ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) TNCC (Trauma
Nursing Core Course) CPHON (Certified Pediatric/Hematology/Oncology
Nurse) OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life
Support) PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization)
S.T.A.B.L.E. (Six Assessment & Care Modules) C-EFM (Fetal Monitor
Certification) Other unit-specific certifications as necessary
Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly push, pull, or lift up
to 50 lbs. Prolonged standing and walking are required during each
shift. Capability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as
